Press Release: Phoenix Alternatives Launches EASE SERVICES with an Otto Bremer Foundation Grant.

White Bear Lake, MN – Susan Warweg, President of Phoenix Alternatives, Inc. announced the recent launch of EASE a new Phoenix Alternatives business service. EASE stands for Electronic Archival Scanning Enterprises. EASE was made possible through a grant from the Otto Bremer Foundation to purchase the equipment and software to scan paper documents and converting them to digital images for storage on disks, hard drives and other storage devices.

Phoenix Alternatives is offering EASE services to businesses and individuals. One of the first businesses to grasp the benefits of EASE for digital document storage was Trane, in White Bear Lake. Close to 54,000 documents were digitally imaged and archived for Trane in less than two months.

Steve Conlin who coordinates sales at EASE SERVICES for Phoenix Alternatives says a lot of corporations as well as individuals have expressed interest in EASE services. Individuals will be able to use EASE to archive tax, financial and personal records, even photos. A filing cabinet of paper can be reduced to a single DVD for easy storage in a safe deposit box. The archived documents are organized in an index and can be easily retrieved and printed or downloaded to a computer hard drive or CD Rom. PAI’s goal is to develop a retail storefront location in White Bear Lake for EASE making it easy for people to drop off their documents for scanning and digital archiving on a DVD.
